In the summer of 1996 the Under 15’s won a Tournament in France. Matthew Jones was player of the Tournament and Chris Hackett the goalkeeper of the Tournament. It was known as the Pont Ste Maxenence Tournament. Felgueiras (Portugal), Trutnov (Czech Republic) INF Cairfontaine, Beauvais OISE and Pont Ste Maxenence were “overcome” to reach the Semi-Finals where they beat Paris St Germain 2-1 and went on to win the final by beating Selection District OISE.
